Today we received confirmation from the IRS that we are now officially a tax exempt, charitable organization! Many thanks to Mary McNamara for all of her hard work during this arduous process.
Registration is now open! Summer ART Camps 2013
Springtime weather may be late in coming this year, but the Milton Art Center is hoping to do what we can to bring some springtime beauty to our gallery walls and your home.
This years’s exhibit features two free demo events, both open to the public:
A floral arrangement demonstration by the Milton Garden club, and a full day floral painting demonstration by award winning artist Tatiana Yanovskaya-Sink.
The Art in Bloom exhibit and sale will also give you a chance to purchase some beautiful original artwork. Remember, Art makes a great Mother’s day gift!
A great time was had by all at Saturday’s Jeremy Lyons concert! The Milton Art Center hosted over 100 people of all ages for this great show of Americana classics and sing along tunes. Thanks to all that came by for your support, and all those who helped make this first MAC musical event such a successful event!
The Milton Art Center seeks to create community through art for all ages to immerse themselves in creativity. The center offers a variety of visual arts and digital media education classes to bring people together to make and share art. Exhibits, classes, workshops, lectures, performance and cultural events are just a few of the opportunities available at the Milton Art Center. We seek to provide a supportive space for learning, to inspire with established and emerging artist exhibitions, and to connect with each other through our shared passion for art.
The Milton Art Center is an expansion of the after school arts enrichment, program, FAVA, Friends and Advocates of the Visual Arts, which has been running in the Milton Public Schools since 2003.
The FAVA program started in response to impending cuts to arts programming within the Milton Public Schools. FAVA partners with the MPS and donates a percentage of their profits to the arts department in the MPS.
